The swirling smoke
the faceless folks
the bloodied blades
the pain that never fades
the tormenting thoughts
the pills i bought
this momentary relief
wont last long i believe
cause one day i'll be immune
and i think that day will come soon
so i'll make the cuts deeper and longer
i'll take the pills that are stronger
i'll smoke my way
through two packs a day
but some day the cycle will repeat
and one day, me, it'll defeat
so either i can end it once and for all
or face life if i have the balls
either i need to cut deep enough
or i need to work hard to succeed at stuff
the determination and the guts
or the pills and the cuts
this choice is mine to make
this decision i must wisely take
